Four Seasons Lodging has sat along Highway 62 on the western edge of Mount Vernon, Indiana, since 1968, and the same family that opened its doors runs it with the same passion today.
Fifty-eight years – that’s long enough to know what a traveler needs at the end of a long drive: a clean, quiet room, a bed worth sleeping in, and someone at the front desk who means it when they ask “how did your trip go?”
We are a small, honest motel that has spent nearly six decades getting the basics right, and that is what our guests have always appreciated.

Its water and open green spaces are incredibly good for stretching out after hours behind the wheel. Cozy Cottage Gift and Coffee Shoppe, a 5-minute drive away, is an easy stop for coffee and a unique collection of gifts for every occasion, and Sharon's Country Kitchen is another option nearby for something heartier.
When the evening calls for barbecue, Hawg N Sauce is a short drive out, and the Half Moon Saloon keeps the night going for anyone in the mood for a drink and some local company.
Mount Vernon itself sits along the Ohio River, within easy striking distance of New Harmony to the north – one of Indiana's most interesting historical towns. Evansville Regional Airport is about 36 miles east for anyone flying in or heading home.

It is a five star rating based on what you might expect for the price. My room was clean and well kept. There was air conditioning which worked fine and a refrigerator that looked nearly new. There is only a shower so no soaking in a hot bath but it was a roomy shower with hood water pressure and plenty of hot water. There is also a microwave provided. The pool was not open for the season yet.
Very good people. Judy is amazing, shes also a local historian and expert on New Harmony (a special town to the north). The gentleman who does maid service is amazing too. He went out of his way to help me several times. I can't speak highly enough of the customer service here. I spent 3 weeks here for work. Hot scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy every morning on the he dot at 6 am. Made my mornings.
Called to check on availability, The lady was not only wonderfully nice she gave us some tips and tricks of the area to help us find a place. We were trying to book in Jasper Indiana last week but accidentally booked in Jasper Alabama!!!! Anyways the people make the place, and I've never had a nicer front desk answer.
